Scammed at Marktplaats

Hi, I'm an international student in Netherlands. Yesterday I was scammed on Marktplaats for 330€, this was from my student budget. I can't believe this happened with me. I'm usually very careful with online transactions. I have filled a police complaint and hoping for the best. This is very difficult to deal with and I've become an emotional mess.

So sorry to hear that, Vivi. These criminals have many ways to operate. We understand what you are going through. Don't be hard on yourself, and do what you can to report. Take time to heal and keep informed on all the new scams that come up with. So that you can warn others as well. Virtual hug, Welpje.
