I'm a mom of two children and was dreaming about urban arrow bakfiets for my family. I found a good one on marktplaats and made a bid for 3500, but it was very far from my city. I asked the seller could he deliver it and he said yes no problem. So the seller came to my home with a bike, my husband had a look for documents and a bike, it was really nice. I was too happy to be obvious and this seller (a young Spanish guy) was speaking with my kids so friendly. He asked a favor to pay in cash because he lost his job and has some payments from the government. In the end, he said that forgot to bring the charger for the bike battery and will come again in 30 minutes. That's all. The next day we went to the police and the policeman checked the bike in the base. The serial' bike number was fake, we sure this bike was stolen. Seller (or it was a group of people?) changed lock and battery to provide keys for buyers. It was stupid, I know. We were too trustful. And I want to cry because it was my dream and now I don’t want to use it with my children. I can't sell it without documents or give it back to the real owner. We did a report to the police, let's see what they will do. I don’t have any contact information about the seller, but I know that police can take his photo because it was a video camera at ATM.
